Psychology is a discipline whose goal is to understand and improve functioning of individuals, groups, and societies as a whole. Psychologists deal with diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues. Our graduate Psychology Program offers three specializations, including: Clinical Psychology, Applied Social Psychology, and Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in Society. The programs of study vary depending on the chosen specialization.

Requirements: English proficiency - IELTS 6.0; CAE 47-51; TOEFL iBT 69-70, TOEFL Computer-based 196; TOEFL Paper-based 525.


The graduate level Psychology Programs are appropriate for students who hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related field of study. Students falling into the latter category are obliged to complete supplementary undergraduate psychology modules. The mandatory modules depend on the chosen specialization and are assigned upon admission. The modules are provided free of charge and should be completed during the first year of study.

Graduates of Psychology Programs can pursue many career paths. They can work as behavioral analysts (especially in autism therapy), cross-cultural consultants, life and career coaches, vocational counselors, educational and academic psychologists, consumer and marketing psychologists, human resources and recruitment specialists as well as social workers and counselors.

Research Laboratories

Clinical Psychology integrates science, theory, and practice to understand, predict, and reduce maladjustment, disability, and distress as well as to support personal development. Clinical Psychology is a broad approach to human problems consisting of diagnosis, assessment, evaluation, consultation, treatment, prevention and research with regard to various populations (children, adults, families, couples and groups).

Applied Social Psychology

Applied Social Psychology is a field, which uses concepts such as attitudes, social influence, decision making strategies, and social cognition to investigate social processes and problems relevant to businesses, organizations and general population.

Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in Society

Global-MINDS is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in Society. It is a comprehensive 2- year programme, delivered in English, designed to provide high quality international training in scientific knowledge and practical skills in the field of social and cultural psychology. The program equips students with in-depth knowledge on themes relevant to the current social and business environment, including culture, organizations, diversity and inclusion as well as global mobility and cultural assimilation.

  2. Pay the Application Fee (PLN 85.00) via PayU - you will be asked to do so in the application form 
  3. Pay the Tuition Fee
  4. Wait for the Acceptance Letter
  5. Upon your arrival in Poland, submit original documents to the Admissions Office
  6. During the first semester, submit the Nostrification of your diploma (if applicable)

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree: Secondary school/high-school diploma
  • Master Degree: Bachelor diploma (undergraduate)
  • Eligible candidates are admitted on the first come, first served basis
  • English proficiency - CEFR B2, IELTS min. 6 pts. certificates issued by University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, the British Council and Education Australia
  • Entry exam dates:
    • Applied Social Psychology: April 6, 2021
    • Clinical Psychology: May 21, 2021;  June 7-8, 2021

Application Fee

Application fee in the amount of PLN 85.00 should be paid via PayU while submitting university application through the Application Portal.

The application fee is non-refundable unless:

  • the program of study that you applied to has been cancelled (except when you decide to enroll in a different program of study at SWPS University).

Persons exempt from the application fee:

  • Graduates of undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs completed at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities (formerly Warsaw School of Social Psychology SWPS)
  • Graduates of undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate studies completed at Collegium Da Vinci (formerly University of Humanities and Journalism)ych
  • Graduates of Liceum Akademickie Da Vinci (Da Vinci High School)

Tuition Fee Discount

  • Children of SWPS University alumni who enroll in degree programs at SWPS University are eligible for a 5% discount on tuition fee for every year of the program.
