Clinical Psychology
2-year program

  • Specialization in Psychology Program
  • Level: Graduate (Master's Degree)
  • Mode:Full-time
  • Applications closed

Our Clinical Psychology program is based on the latest clinical science and provides education in clinical assessment and intervention. We train future clinicians to implement a wide range of evidence-based practices consistent with ethical and professional standards.

The first year program provides intensive theoretical education and an introduction to clinical treatment. Students gain extensive knowledge of child and adult psychopathology and acquire basic skills related to psychotherapy, assessment and clinical research.

During the second year, a majority of modules are dedicated to the psychotherapeutic process and to developing practical clinical skills. Students prepare their Master’s thesis and complete two 90-hour applied modules that include clinical training.

Requirements: English proficiency - IELTS 6.0; CAE 47-51; TOEFL iBT 69-70, TOEFL Computer-based 196; TOEFL Paper-based 525.

The Clinical Psychology specialization is a good choice for students interested in mental and behavioral health, who want to help others to understand and overcome psychologically-based distress and prevent emotional and social dysfunction in daily life. The program is appropriate for students who hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related field of study. Students falling into the latter category will have a possibility to complete two non-obligatory free-of-charge, undergraduate psychology modules: (1) Methodology and Statistics: Introduction, (2) Psychopathology. The additional modules should be completed by the end of the first year.

Career Prospects

Graduates of our Clnical Psychology Program may pursue many professional opportunities and career paths. Depending on their specialization and professional certification, alumni can build successful careers in clinical psychology, psychotherapy, social work, counseling, behavior analysis (especially in the area of developmental disabilities), neuropsychology, educational/ academic psychology, cross-cultural consultations, and life coaching.
