Academic Skills
Doctoral Winter School
January 7-11, 2019

Our winter school is aimed at doctoral students who wish to develop their academic skills indispensable to working in an international academic and research environment. Doctoral students will acquire skills that will help them successfully face the challenges of a demanding doctoral program, such as planning doctoral projects and studies, research project management, academic writing and publishing - skills necessary for the promotion of research results, and communication with thesis advisors and other scholars. The acquired skills will also be helpful in further development of successful research careers.

Students will have an opportunity to learn from internationally renowned experts and academics. Such as Hugh Kearns, public speaker, educator and researcher, specializing in trainings for doctoral students, who regularly lectures at the leading universities across the world.
