The WeedTeam researches the influence of psychoactive substances, available from legal and illegal sources in Poland, on the human body and behavior.
Team Activities
Cannabis is one of the most frequently used psychoactive substances around the world. Its popularity has grown in recent years thanks to legalization in some countries and increased use of cannabis in medicine. However, the knowledge concerning the effects of cannabis (in particular residual effects) on the human body and behavior is limited.
The WeedTeam researches neurocognitive functioning in persons engaging in psychoactive substance use, as well as the effects of substance addiction. Currently, the studies focus on the effects of using cannabis.
