Profile
Sylwia Stachowiak is a mathematician. She specializes in formal methods of researching network and computer security systems, in particular methods of cryptanalysis of a certain class of symmetric ciphers.
She is currently participating in a research project at the Institute of Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) in Warsaw, which aims to develop and test a secure communication protocol for a new trading portal of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) (“A research and development project aimed at developing and implementing an innovative integrated Trading Platform, which would provide a breakthrough in efficiency and capacity parameters as well as innovative communication protocols and transaction algorithms”).
At SWPS University she teaches mathematics.
