Festival of Literature and Theatre Between.Pomiędzy

The motto of the 12th International Festival of Literature and Theatre is a quote from Samuel Beckett's a short narrative "Company":

"You turn on without moving from your place the light above you. Your eyes light on the watch lying beneath it. But instead of reading the hour of night they follow round and round the second hand now followed and now preceded by its shadow."

The mission of the Festival is to ignite creativity and learning. All events and activities promote readership and encourage active participation in diverse cultural forms.

Over the past several years, some of the notable Festival guests inlcuded: Neal Ascherson, Taras Wozniak, S. E. Gontarski, Robson Corrêa de Camargo, Nicolas Johnson, Paul Allain, Douglas Rintoul, Derek Attridge, H. Porter Abbott, Enoch Brater, Teatr Pieśń Kozła, Ośrodek Praktyk Teatralnych "Gardzienice”, Teatr ZAR, Teatr Wierszalin, Teatr Wybrzeże, Sopocki Teatr Tańca, DzikiStyl Company, Monika Sznajderman, Andrzej Stasiuk, Justyna Bargielska, Krzysztof Miklaszewski, Maciej Rychły, Mateusz Rychły, and Zbigniew Benedyktowicz.
